I preordered F1 2014 and couldn't wait for it to come out. While my page may say that I've played 2 hours, that is literally only from the 'Preparing to launch.' Appearing and disappearing. I'm so fed up with this; I haven't been able to play a single second of this game that I waited so long for.I've tried everything that the internet said; updating drivers, reinstalling Steam and F1 2014, turning off cloud syncing, verifying my game cache, triple checked my system requirements (they're as recommended) What haven't I tried?Every time the 'Preparing to launch.' Windows pops up then closes then pops up again and closes, etc. Until it finally says that the Steam servers were too busy to handle my request (Error Code 41).
Occasionally it does say that it's completing the installation or something but it stops at 1%.Can anyone please help?ThanksSpecs:Windows 7 64bitIntel Core i7-2600 3.40GHz16.0GB RAMAMD Radeon HD 6800. I either get the error 41, or the screen that says preparing to launch keeps cycling. I have re-installed it twice.I more than meet the recommended requirements.AMD FX83708 Gigs ramAMD R9 270Windows 7 64 bitI'd suggest sending custserv@codemasters.com and email with your rig spec, they'll most likely ask for some more info but they should be able to help get you running.Thanks. I don't know what I did to make it work, but it works now.
I uninstalled and reinstalled again after my last post and it at least runs now. I can't get into full screen though, it crashes every time I try. But at least it's playable now. I either get the error 41, or the screen that says preparing to launch keeps cycling.

Had problems with games crashing before because of that.Assetto corsa for one.
I have the same problem, and after a lot of search, i discover its a graphic issue. When i change my hardware settings at full screen false, like thisthe game starts at window mode, when i press alt+enter for full screen it crashes to desktop. At least i can play at window mode. I recently update ati drivers at the new beta, you think it has something to do with that problem? The same thing happening with f1 2013 with the same solution its working.
