Dmv Victoria Park And Lawrence

Check mirrors every 3 seconds, wear a hat, if your neck isn't sore halfway through you've already failedAccelerate to the speed limit from a stop quickly, otherwise you'll get points deducted for driving too slowOne thing that psyched me out was in the G2 test, they mark down what you did wrong, but on the G test they mark down what you did RIGHT. So when I pulled out and my examiner was starting to check things off on her sheet I thought I had already failed, but when I got my paper back I realized it was the opposite. (I passed too) Just wanted to let you know.Be confident. Most likely DVP since it's closer to the testing center. Everything else is just an extended version of the G2 test when it comes to the city portion.Just watch out when you're driving around that parking lot before and after the test since it's busy around Goodlife and the stop signs can seem hidden.Kudos for choosing a testing center in Toronto instead of going out of town 5 hours away. Do plenty of mirror and blind spot checks, exaggerate your head movements, always signal and you'll be fine. May 6th, 2014 12:37 pmWell, its about time I go for my G as my licence is expiring soon.

Anyone know the routes for their drive test for G? What things should I expect?

The regular g2 road test stuff? Also do they test on the dvp or 401?I actually took my G test there couple of days ago and passed. I did my test at 12pm, and there were no traffic both ways on the DVP. They will take you on a smaller street just before the DVP (school zone, watch out for 40km/h), and make you do parallel parking, 3-point turn, and emergency stop. Afterward you will go on DVP north towards York Mills - exit and come right back and exit on Lawrence Ave East. It's a pretty straight forward test, I wouldn't say it was easy nor hard.

I was pretty nervous and the tester seemed firm and strict, but I think he was fair. What time is your test at? Have you checked out the area around your test time to see how the traffic was like? I think that's the most important part, especially going onto the DVP it would make you feel at ease if you were aware of the traffic flow at the time of your test. My friends who went out of town told me to go far away and do it. I wasn't justified with going 5 hours away when I can just pay 40 bucks and do it at Vp/Lawrence. Based on google maps, after you exit on York Mills, do they make you come down south of dvp and exit on Lawrence? Or do do you just continue on York Mills then right on Victoria Park and back to the drive centre?

Based on google maps, after you exit on York Mills, do they make you come down south of dvp and exit on Lawrence? Or do do you just continue on York Mills then right on Victoria Park and back to the drive centre? So there are 2 highway routes they can take you:1.

Exit on York Mills, turn left and go right on DVP south and exit on Lawrence East.2. Continue to 401 East, Exit on Warden Ave, and then come back to test centre via local roads.During my test I had route 1.

It's clearly much faster than route 2. I did all my tests in VP and Lawrence. G1 perfect score.

G2 (1st take) with the old asian looking guy (he is nice, soft spoken), I never had a problem with the G2. Then got my full G recently at same location with an evil asian looking lady examiner (looks filipina). She let me do everything (emergency, up hill, down hill, parallel, emergency stop, did 5 lane changes in DVP going to york mills and another 4 lane changes in DVP doing south). Well, my DVP experience was flawless that's why I passed. She yelled at me on our way back to the plaza which made me panic. But at the end, she passed me.This is the only location I tried in so far and yes I would recommend it.

Just avoid the strict looking lady.

While this approach is used in the Washington state driving test, it is not the only way the test is performed. Rather than parking behind a lone vehicle, the driver might be asked to park between two stanchions. This video was produced by the Washington State Department of Licensing.
